Carport Fire Causes $350,000 in Damages

SANTA MARIA, Calif. - An early morning carport fire destroyed two cars and damaged ten others in Santa Maria Friday morning.

Police say it happened at 919 East Main just before 2:30 in the morning.

That's when police found 75 feet of a carport destroyed and an additional 75 feet damaged by smoke.

The cause is under investigation.

The fire caused $350,000 in damages.
