5 Females Shot at Near Walmart on Boronda

SALINAS, Calif.- The Monterey County Sheriff's Department has confirmed five females, including several juveniles were shot at in their car on Friday night.

Deputies said it happened at the intersection of Boronda Rd and Brooks Rd. at 9:15pm.

The suspect reportedly stopped at the intersection in a car, showed a handgun and fired at the females.

No one was hit and neither was the car.

Deputies said there were any other witnesses.
