Semi Truck Stalled, Causes Major Traffic in Santa Cruz

SANTA CRUZ, Calif.- Santa Cruz police are advising people avoid River Street, the start of Highway 9 between Highway 1 and Gold Club Drive for the next two hours because of a stalled semi truck.

The stalled big rig near River Street and Fern has caused significant traffic backups and other issues. Police are working to have the vehicle towed.

Expect delays and a short road closure during the next 2 hours.
