SALINAS, Calif- Salinas Police arrest one suspect after a short pursuit ended with a car crash into a home near Nogal Drive and Amarillo Way. Police said there were three suspects in the car and all of them escaped into the neighborhood near Natividad Creek Park.
The incident started when a Monterey County Probation Officer tried to contact one of the suspects. That's when that probationer sped off in a vehicle with two other suspects.
Police said all three crashed the car and ran from the scene, hopping fences and escaping into the area of Natividad Creek Park. Officers closed off the area and started evacuating homes because they believed two of the suspects may be hiding there.
No one was injured after the car crashed into the home but the homeowner told Central Coast News it startled him, to say the least.
