SANTA BARBARA, Calif.- A Montecito man accused of hitting a victim with a car after a fight at a party in September has been arrested for attempted murder.
Police say Avery Anthony Morris Jr., 29, ran over the victim after he was asked to leave the party in Santa Barbara.
Police say Morris threatened the victim saying he had a gun. Morris was originally booked into Pasadena earlier this month, but now he's behind bars at Santa Barbara County Jail.
The victim was treated at cottage hospital for serious injuries.
