SAN LUIS OBISPO -- Around 9:00 PM last night San Luis Obispo Police Officers responded to the 700 block of Marsh to the report of male breaking windows at businesses.

Samuel Dabill threw himself against several windows of businesses but didn't cause damage to those businesses.  He then approached a female getting into her car, but she managed to fight him off.

Dabill then headed toward Bluebird Salon and overturned a couple of large pots in front of the Salon.  He then entered the Salon and threw a glass shelf full of product onto the floor.  All of the employees ran out of the business and were not injured.

After causing a couple of thousand dollars of damage to the business, Dabill ran from the Salon.  Witnesses followed the suspect and alerted officers to Dabill's location. Police took him into custody without a fight.

Police booked Dabill booked into county jail for Burglary, False Imprisonment, and Felony Vandalism. He is being held on $20,000 bail.
