Knife Wielding Man Arrested in Lompoc

LOMPOC, Calif. - It's jail for a Lompoc Man who police say stood in the road yelling while waving a knife.

Police say 35-year-old Orlando Delamora put the knife on the ground after police asked him to several times Tuesday in the 500 block of North Sixth Street.

Officers launched bean bag rounds. That's when Delamora was taken to the Lompoc District Hospital.

Misdemeanor charges for resisting arrest, being under the influence of a controlled substance and public intoxication have been filed with the District Attorney against Delamora.
