NIPOMO, Calif. - A Lucia Mar Unified School District bus driver has been arrested for possessing meth. Authorities found the meth, along with drug paraphernalia, in her personal car.
Police arrested 31 year old April Nunez on Thursday afternoon after stopping her at a traffic stop in Nipomo while no students were on board. They discovered a small amount of methamphetamine, along with a scale and packaging material in her personal car. They also found $1,200 in cash.
Investigators do not think that Nunez was selling meth to children. Nunez has been booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail on possession of meth for sale.
