Lompoc Theater Renovations To Be Discussed on Tuesday - KCOY Santa Maria, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo - News

LOMPOC, Calif. - The Lompoc City Council plans to discuss how they will repair the historic Lompoc Theater on Tuesday night.

After going back and forth with residents for months, the city finally came to a decision in November that they would explore options on repairing the roof themselves.  Many groups argued the theater shouldn't be left to rot and disappear.

At this point, the city expects the roof repairs to cost around $8,000.  The city council will most likely select a contractor to review the work needed and put together the final reconstruction plans.
