SALINAS, Calif.-- With all the recent buzz of another World Title being captured by the San Francisco Giants, the local baseball community is still buzzing baseball in the winter. On Thursday, December 6th from 6 to 9PM, the 2010 Giants World Championship ring will be on display and available to wear for photo opportunities at the new Dick's Sporting Goods located inside the Westridge Center at 1223 N. Davis Road.
Apart from the World Championship making a stop, this weekend will be full with baseball events. Giants Minor League Hitting instructor Ken Joyce, will be giving two instructional clinics to both youth and local coaches. Ken Joyce has worked with the majority of both Giants championship rosters and most notably the 2012 National League Most Valuable Player, Buster Posey. The Coaches Clinic is FREE to all baseball coaches and will take place at the Alisal High School Campus on Friday, December 7 at 7PM. The Swing Like a Pro Clinic for youth players is a completely SOLD OUT event that will be hosted at the Tony Teresa Diamond on the Hartnell College Campus on Saturday, December 8th and 9th.
