PACIFIC GROVE, Calif. - Pacific Grove police are investigating a case involving electronic fraud at a gas station.
Police say a person repairing a gas pump at the Union 76 Service Station on Forest Avenue found two devices inside the pump. The electronic devices are called "Skimming" devices and are used to track electronic information.
The repairman reported the devices to the owner of the gas station, who then reported it to Pacific Grove police. Police confirmed that they devices were that and are targeting people who pay for fuel with a debit or credit card.
Police released an announcement in August after a bust of suspects involved with a similar crime.
