WATSONVILLE, Calif.-  Watsonville Police closed several streets late Sunday night because of a roll-over car accident at Green Valley and Main Street.

Police were sent to the scene just before 9:00 PM to reports of a single car crash into a tree line along the road. When police arrived, they found a 1998 White Honda Civic north of the S. Green Valley sidewalk.

Three people were in the vehicle, the driver and one other passenger suffered non-life threatening injuries and were transported to a bay area hospital. Another passenger, a 17-year-old Hispanic male, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation. Watsonville Police are encouraging anyone that may have seen the accident to call 831-768-3314.
