Santa Barbara Gang Member Involved in Selling Methamphetamine Arrested

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - It's jail for a Santa Barbara area gang member who Santa Barbara Police say was also involved in selling methamphetamine.

44-year-old Alejandro Mendibles Junior was arrested on Friday when police found one of his cars.

Police say he was arrested for driving with a suspended license.

Detectives then executed a search warrant and found nearly a quarter of a pound of methamphetamine in his other car.

Mendibles is now booked in Santa Barbara County Jail on $30,000 bail.
