Deadly Accident Causes Major Traffic Delays on Highway 101

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif.- A deadly accident on southbound Highway 101 South of Higueria caused major traffic delays Tuesday evening.

California Highway Patrol officers were called to scene at about 4:30. Officers tell Central Coast News a Ford Ranger truck rear ended a semi-truck. The Ford Ranger truck was totaled with major damage to its side. Officers say at least one person was killed.

As of Tuesday evening, officers are not releasing any more information.
