Salinas McDonald's Robbed at Gunpoint by Two Men

SALINAS, Calif. - Salinas police responded to calls around 11:15 Tuesday night to the McDonald's on Abbott Street. Police say the two men entered the business through the back door when an employee was exiting.

The business was closed when the robbery happened. The two men forced the manager to open the safe and took an undisclosed amount of money. They took a laptop computer, as well.

The suspects were described as two Hispanic males in their early 20's, medium build and wearing black hoodies and black bandanas over their face. Both men were armed with handguns.

Police said no one was injured and the two men fled on foot. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
