Wedding Bells Ringing For Many on 12-12-12

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - The wedding bells rang for many couples today, as many decided to tie the knot on Wednesday so that their wedding date could be 12-12-12.

The rare phenomenon of three same numbers in a date will not happen for another 88 years, until January 1, 2101.

According to the San Luis Obispo County Courthouse, nine people were married on Wednesday. That may not sound like much, it's actually three times the normal amount. Also, 20 marriage licenses were registered today, so those couples will get 12-12-12 as their official date.
