SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - 86-year-old George Taylor pled guilty to assisting in his wife, Gewynn Taylor's suicide back on December 10th. George will be back in court in San Luis Obispo on January 16th for sentencing at 8:30 a.m. in Dept. 4
According to the SLO County Sheriff's Department: On Monday, 12-10-12 at approximately 11:26 pm Montana DE Oro State Park Rangers made contact with the driver of a vehicle occupied by two people. The suspect George Leigh Taylor - 86yrs. Los Osos and the victim Gewynn Mariann Taylor - 81yrs. Los Osos.
Subsequent investigation revealed that the Gewynn Taylor was deceased. Assistance was requested from the Sheriff's Office and Sheriff's Patrol, Detectives, Coroner's and Crime Scene Investigators responded.
The driver, George Taylor was transported to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
