Goleta Drug Bust Lands Three Men Behind Bars

GOLETA, Calif. - Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Narcotics Detectives and Santa Barbara Police Department, severed several warrants and arrest three men connected with drugs.

According to a department release, "a multi-week narcotics investigation has resulted in the arrest of three people and the seizure of methamphetamine, cocaine, and currency.

On Tuesday, December 18th, 2012, Santa Barbara Sheriff's Narcotics Detectives, with the assistance of the Santa Barbara Police Department, served several search and arrest warrants in the city of Goleta and Santa Barbara.

During the search warrants executed in the 200 block of Ellwood Beach in the City of Goleta, and in 1000 block of Indio Muerto in Santa Barbara, Narcotics Detective's located and seized 1 pound of Methamphetamine, 2 ounces of Cocaine, and over $6,000.00 in currency.

Arrested and booked into the Santa Barbara County Jail;

Salvador Valdez Solorzano of Santa Barbara (11378 H&S – Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sale, 11379 H&S – Transportation of a Controlled Substance, and 11351 H&S – Possession of Cocaine for Sale)

Jaime Eduardo Equihua Montana of the City of Goleta (11378 H&S – Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sale)

Jesus Amador Zamora Esquivel of the City of Goleta (11378 H&S – Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sale)
