SLO County Sheriff's Deputies Discover San Miguel Man Dead in Riverbed

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office learned of a body at a transient camp in the riverbed in the San Miguel area Thursday and found the man to be deceased.

The body of the man was located and transported to the Coroner's Office and has now been identified as 54-year-old Clifton Bruce Roberts of San Miguel.

The cause and manner of death is under investigation. However, no foul play is suspected at this time. An autopsy and toxicology report are pending.
