Authorities Arrest 3 Men in Drug Sting; Large Amount of Drugs And Money Seized

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - A week-long drug sting put three men behind bars Thursday evening, after authorities found the suspects with a sizeable amount of drugs and cash.

Santa Barbara authorities seized one pound of methamphetamine, two ounces of cocaine, and more than $6,000 dollars in cash.

They arrested three men after finding the drugs inside homes on the 200 block of Ellwood Beach in Goleta and the 1000 block of Indio Muerto in Santa Barbara. The men have been booked into county jail on drug possession charges.

After two days of deliberating in the penalty phase of the trial, the jury told the judge they couldn't decide on a sentence for 32-year old Jodi Arias for killing her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander. CBS reports the judge sent the jury of eight men and four women back for more deliberations.More >>
