SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - It's 56 years behind bars for John Woody, the man charged with stabbing a man to death at a Paso Robles laundromat back in 2011.
30-year-old John Woody Junior was sentenced Thursday, December 20 for first degree murder.
People charged with murder are usually sentenced 25 years to life, but a judge added 31 years to Woody's sentence because woody had a prior felony conviction and used a knife.
He was declared legally sane back in November by a judge.
