SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. -- The San Francisco Giants have announced their World Champion Trophy Tour stops. The tour is going to start January 8th and will end on Opening Day which is April 5th 2013. This is the second public trophy tour for the SF Giants in the past three years. The tour will feature both the 2010 and 2012 trophies.
Bank of America is sponsoring the tour that will go to several different cities in northern California. Here is a list of cities the World Champion Trophy Tour is going to:
Lompoc, CA --- February 13th
San Luis Obispo, CA --- February 14th
Paso Robles, CA --- February 15th
Salinas, Gilroy and Morgan Hill, CA --- February 16th
The team hopes to reach out to more than 20,000 kids who play in the Junior Giants baseball program. Fans will be able to have their picture taken with the trophies and support local Junior Giants Baseball Leagues.
