Suspect Wanted for Ramming a SLO Sheriff's K-9 Unit Turns Himself in

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Deputies have Marc Steele, a suspect who was wanted for arrest warrants and ramming a Sheriff's K-9 unit, in custody.

Steele, was being sought by the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office for arrest warrants, and ramming a Sheriff's K-9 unit during an attempted arrest on December 14, 2012, turned himself in to Sheriff's Custody staff at San Luis Obispo County Jail at about 7:00 pm on Friday, December 21, 2012 without incident.

Steele remains in custody for warrants, including a "no-bail" warrant for felon in possession of a firearm. The investigation into the incident which occurred on December 14, 2012, is continuing.
