California Highway Patrol Officer Dan Ralph
SANTA BARBARA, Calif- California Highway Patrol Officer Dan Ralph was on a routine patrol on Highway 101 when he stopped and saved a man's life.
According to a news release, Officer Ralph saw the man walking on the metal guard rail over the Milpas Street under-crossing. When Officer Ralph got out of his patrol car he noticed that the victim was bleeding from cuts on his wrist and was holding a razorblade.
After talking the man off of the guardrail, Officer Ralph was able to take the razorblade from the man. The victim was taken to the Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for medical treatment.
