SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - Goodwill Industries/Shoreline will sponsor an all-day job seeker academy, to those wanting to brush up on job hunting skills at no cost.
The training will be held at the Morro Bay Veterans Memorial Hall, located at 209 Surf Street, on Tuesday, January 29th. The event will start at 8:30am and will end at 4:30pm.
The day will host multiple "how to" sessions for job seekers, including how to prepare a targeted resume, how to ace an interview, and how to use social media to network and connect.
One Stop says participants should bring a lunch and their resume. Seating is limited, so if you are interested in attending, you must register in advance. To register, simply call DULCE at (805) 903-1400. Registration closes on January 25th.
