Shots Fired in Templeton, One Man Arrested

TEMPLETON, Calif.- A man was arrested Sunday after deputies received reports of shots fired in the area of El Pomar Drive.

Deputies responded to the area at 12:30pm and set up a perimeter around the suspect's home. Deputies were able to contact the suspect by phone and convinced him to surrender.

The suspect, 44-year-old William Powell, was arrested on a weapons violation and assault with a deadly weapon.
