UCSB Faculty Start Non-Profit

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - U.C. Santa Barbara faculty member Richard Appelbaum and former faculty member William Felstiner have founded the Chad Relief Foundation.

It's a non-profit organization that is working to improve the lives of refugees from the war torn country of Chad.

And so far, 15 projects, including providing tricycle wheelchairs to about 60 people, have been completed.
