Country Western Star Dies in Santa Barbara

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Harry Carey, Junior, a Country Western movie actor who starred alongside stars such as John Wayne, has passed away in Santa Barbara.

He died of natural causes at the age of 91.

Carey was a character actor in many of John Ford's Western films.

One of his most famous roles was in the Cheyenne Harry franchise.

In 2004, Carey took part in the 80th Fiesta Parade in Santa Barbara.
