Central Coast Welcomes First Babies of the New Year

Local hospitals welcome the first Central Coast babies of 2013.

The newest addition is little David Correa. Correra was born at Marian Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria at 4:27am weighing in at 5lbs 9oz.

The first 2013 baby in San Luis Obispo County is Dylan Villers. Villers was born at French Hospital Medical Center at 3:16am weighing 6lbs 12 oz.

Both families received big gift baskets from the hospitals for welcoming the first baby of the new year.
