
SALINAS, Calif.- Salinas police are investigating an armed robbery at an insurance company Wednesday afternoon.
Police said around 4 p.m. on 10 Sherwood Dr., a male suspect with a handgun entered Imperial Insurance Company and demanded money from the employee. He was described as a Hispanic male, 25 years old, with black hair and brown eyes. He was 5'5" tall and weighed 160 lbs. The suspect wore a gray hooded sweatshirt with a large Cal Bear logo and the word "California" across the chest. He took an undisclosed amount of money and fled on foot in an eastbound direction on E. Market St.
