TEMPLETON, Calif. – Twin Cities Community Hospital in Templeton has received a top safety score by The Leapfrog Group, an independent national nonprofit advocacy group for hospital transparency. The hospital, which earned an "A" score, was one of just 92 hospitals in the state to receive the top mark.
The score used 26 different measures of publicly available hospital data to produce a score that ranges from "A" to "F." The grade reflects a hospital's ability to keep patients safe from infections, injuries, and other medical errors.
Twin Cities CEO Mark Lisa said, "I appreciate the incredible hard work, dedication and professionalism from everyone on staff – from volunteers to physicians and board members – that have made it possible for Twin Cities to hold such a high standard for health and safety. Twin Cities goes above and beyond to look out for the well-being of our community and we are both proud and humbled to be able to offer award-winning medical services to the people of the North County."
