Water Conservation in Santa Barbara

Posted: Updated:

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - If you get water from the City of Santa Barbara's Cater Water Treatment Plant, you're being asked to conserve this month.

A twenty million dollar project is underway to help the Water Treatment Plant meet stricter drinking water regulations that were put in place by the federal government.

There will be two, three-day shutdowns of the Water Treatment Plant.

From January 11th through the 13th and then again from the 18th to the 20th, no drinking water will be produced, but other water supplies will come into play for the time being.
