Central Coast Driver Killed in Fiery Crash in Ventura County

VENTURA CO., Calif. - Thursday night a man driving a Ferrari, with a passenger, 23 year old Hugo Hernandez, spun out of control, crashed into a ditch and exploded into flames.

According to CHP, they were notified about the crash Thursday night around 9:53pm. CHP responded to the crash scene on Los Posas Road, just north of Pacific Coast Highway.

The driver, who has yet to be positively identified was unable to exit the car and died on scene. Hernandez was taken to a hospital and treated for burns. The driver was driving a 2004 Ferrari 360.
