OCEANO, Calif. - The plane involved in a deadly plane crash has been removed from the scene after it was taken apart piece by piece.

The investigation is now with the Federal Aviation Administration, FAA, and the National Transportation Safety Board, NTSB.

Witnesses tell Central Coast news that moments before the crash, the pilot was making daredevil stunts in the plane.

The coroner has confirmed the pilot was 56-year-old Glen Ray of Grover beach.

He was well known for his work in aviation along with his fundraising efforts for numerous toy drives.
