Salinas Standoff Ends Peacefully

SALINAS, Calif.- Salinas police said a man refused to come out of his house at about 5:00pm Sunday night. That led to a standoff, lasting about an hour.

Family members in a home at Sherwood and Rossi called 9-1-1 when the man seemed to be getting upset. Officers were able to negotiate him out of the house.

But traffic was shut down in the area.
