Armed Robbery at Bakery in Salinas

SALINAS, Calif. -- Police responded to an armed robbery at the Guadalajara Bakery parking lot in Salinas. It happened on the 600 block of E. Market Street.

Officers said a victim was sitting in his car with family members waiting for someone in the Bakery when a male suspect approached the car and pointed a gun, demanding money. Police said the victim gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money then fled on foot. The suspect was last seen running towards Pearl Street.

Police described the suspect at a Hispanic man dresses in all black with his face covered.
