Another Defendant Pleads Guilty in Dystiny Myers Murder Case

SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY, Calif- The second of five suspects in the brutal murder case of Dystiny Myers, the 15-year-old Santa Maria girl, entered his plea Monday.

Cody Miller was slapped with a number of charges and enhancements to those charges, but today we learned that the district attorney's office cut Miller a deal and he took it.

Miller, one of four defendants left in this case, pleaded guilty to premeditated first degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder, kidnapping, assault with a deadly weapon, in this case a bat, and burglary. Miller has also agreed to testify against the other three suspects left in this case.

Miller took a deal that will allow him possibility of parole after serving 39 years. The three other defendants will be on trial February 25th.
