Hebbron Street Homicide Victim Identified

SALINAS, Calif. --- Police have identified 22-year old Jose Moris Serrano Morales as the second homicide victim in this week's fatal shooting.

It happened in front of 18 Hebbron Street just after 9:00 p.m. on Monday. Officers said Morales was found with several gunshot wounds to his upper body. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said residents reported hearing several gunshots then saw a man wearing dark clothes running from the area.

Investigators don't know if the shooting is gang related.
