Private School Reopens After Norovirus Contaminated Campus

Posted: Updated:

LOS OLIVOS, Calif. - The Dunn School in Los Olivos is now open again after the school sent all of its private school students home after signs norovirus had contaminated the schools grounds in December.

The students were released early for winter break.

Norovirus is a very contagious strain of the flu and inflames the intestines. It's transmitted by an infected person, contaminated food or water, or by touching contaminated surfaces.

Some students were infected but are expected to be okay.

The school was disinfected before it reopened.
