SANTA MARIA, Calif. - A two car crash on Tuesday afternoon in Santa Maria sends one teenager to the hospital.
California Highway Patrol say one car was driving northbound on Highway 1, approaching Clark Avenue and then stopped. Meantime, the other driver, a Lompoc teenager driving a 2004 Honda Accord, had stopped westbound on Clark Avenue.
The Lompoc driver pulled into the intersection first, and the first driver collided with the Honda Accord, hitting the driver's side.
The Lompoc teen was transported to Marian Regional Medical Center for minor injuries. Officials say alcohol does not appear to be a factor, but the collision is still under investigation.
