Bettencourt Out of Jail After Posting $100,000 Bail

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. - The man who is accused of causing a crash on Highway 246 between Buellton and Solvang in 2011 that killed his passenger is out of jail.

According to the Santa Barbara County Jail records, 36-year-old Benjamin Bettencourt posted bail and was let out on Friday, January 4.
