SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. -- It's jail for a 22-year-old San Luis Obispo resident caught burglarizing a female resident early Friday morning.

Police say that the resident, who lives on the 800-block of Boysen Street, called police around 1:16 Friday morning when she heard the front door open to her apartment.

When officers arrived on scene, they found the burglar, Conor Sullivan, with a laptop in his hand.

Authorities say this was Sullivan's second trip into the apartment this morning because he was stealing more belongings.

Sullivan told police that he found the key to the apartment two months ago in a parking lot and used it this morning.

All property was recovered from his apartment just two door's down from the one he burglarized.

He is being held at San Luis Obispo County Jail on $50,000 bail.
