Posted: Updated:

SANTA MARIA, Calif. -- The Santa Maria Joint Union School District released new information about an app that reports bullying to the school.

The app is now available on the district's website that serves four high schools and over 8,000 students. It's called the Bully Button. Parents can enter information about bullying and the school will review it. District officials said this is an easier way for people to report bullying.

The district said the Bully Button App is also used at Righetti High School. More than 7,000 people have already viewed the app.
