Natividad Road Closed When Car Hits Pole - KCOY Santa Maria, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo - News

SALINAS, Calif- People in the Creekbridge area of Salinas were without power last night after a car hit a pole in the area, said police.

Around 9:30 p.m. police found a 1993 Nissan Sentra that had collided with a power police. The car had sheared the pole in half and live wires were dangling on the ground.

Police said that when they arrived on scene, the car had been abandoned. Police are trying to track down the owner of the car.

Police had to shut down Natividad Rd., in the area of Los Coches and power to the area was out for several hours.
