SLO Sheriff's Officers Make Drug Bust at Budget Inn and Find a Samurai Sword

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Gang Task Force and Narcotics Unit followed up a tip and make a bust at the "Budget Inn" in San Luis Obispo Tuesday. Officers found drugs, money and a Samurai sword.

According to the Sheriff's Department release:

On 1-15-13, investigators with the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office Gang Task Force and Narcotics Unit responded to the Budget Inn in San Luis Obispo on a tip regarding a narcotics operation.

After contacting several people in a hotel room, investigators found approximately 6 ounces of heroin, along with a small amount of methamphetamine and related drug paraphernalia. As a result, three people were arrested.

Lance Anthony Lodolo was arrested for possession of heroin for sale and committing a felony while out on felony bail. Clifton Puett and Alichia Renee Starnes were arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Also seized: 1,700 dollars, a digital scale, meth pipe and a samurai sword. The street value of the heroin is estimated at 9,000 dollars.
