SISQUOC, Calif. - The Blochman Union School District and it's former Superintendent have finally parted ways. At Tuesday's school board meeting, the board voted unanimously to terminate the contract of Kristin Garrison-Lima.
According to the board: By a vote of 5 to 0, the Board voted to ratify an agreement with Ms. Garrison-Lima to terminate the employment relationship by mutual agreement, effective January 10, 2013.
Kristin Garrison-Lima served as Superintendent of the Blochman Union School District from July 28, 2008 until January 10, 2013 . Her last annual salary (based on a halftime 200 day contract) was Sixty Thousand Eight Hundred Thirty-Four Dollars and Sixty Cents ($60,834.60).
The Contract of Employment between the Governing Board of the Blochman Union School District and Ms. Garrison-Lima permitted the parties to end the employment relationship "by mutual agreement, at any time." The parties elected to end the employment relationship by mutual agreement in accordance with the terms of her employment contract. The Governing Board did not dismiss Ms. Garrison-Lima for cause.
