SANTA MARIA, Calif. - Santa Maria Police trying to figure out who stabbed a man who was breaking up a fight at "Louie B's Bar" in Santa Maria.
According to Police, around 9:10am this morning, Officers responded to Marian Regional Medical Center after a male victim arrived at the ER with a stab wound, which occurred on the above date and time.
The victim advised, while he was at Louie B's Bar, a fight broke out in the rear parking lot. A crowd gathered and the fight moved to the rear of an adjacent parking lot, 127 E. Main. The victim attempted to intervene and was stabbed by one of the crowd's on-lookers, who was instigating the fight to continue.
The victim fled to his residence and later checked himself into MMC for treatment. The victim was treated and released from the hospital.
