Local Santa Barbara Woman Dies From Flu

SANTA BARBARA, Calif.- The first death in Santa Barbara County related to the flu virus has been reported this season.

Officials from the Public Health Department say the 80-year-old woman died on Tuesday. They say she was considered high risk due to her age.

Although, California is not on the map for having a wide spread outbreak, local health officials say cases are on the rise on the Central Coast.
