First Bay Area Flu Death Reported This Season

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, Calif. -- The first Bay Area flu death of the season has been reported in Santa Clara County.

On Thursday, county health officers confirmed a 98 year old died earlier this month from the flu and pneumonia..

State wide, there have been four flu-related deaths of people under the age of 65 this flu season.
