ATASCADERO, Calif. - Seven Atascadero State Hospital employees have been injured in patient attacks since January 2, 2013 according to Atascadero State Hospital.
The first attack happened on January 2, and one employee got a minor cut on the forehead.
The second attack happened on January 11. This attack results in back pain and a cut to the head.
The last attack happened January 14th and employees suffered bruises, scratches and muscle strains. A police officer was also injured in this patient attack.
The employees involved in the incidents were nursing employees.
The hospital says they will investigate each incident.
